In Full Scans you will find entire page-by-page images of doujinshi that I have scanned. Misc. Images contains just that, miscellaneous scans of FF8 doujinshi, mostly cover images. I do not own any of the doujinshi in this section, and most of them came from Ebay or Yahoo!Japan auction pages.

Doujinshi is not official merchandise. The word is basically a term for any manga/comic that takes characters from an anime or game and writes its own story. Doujinshi are published by independent companies, and drawn by individuals or doujinshi circles (groups of artists who publish under the same name.) In short, you could call it professional fanart. And the companies that actually own the characters don't mind this stuff being published... I guess they think of it as free advertising, or they're flattered that someone would want to make a comic of their game/anime. Doujinshi is very popular in Japan and you can find it for a lot of anime titles, as well as some games, like Final Fantasy.
